David Ginople opened store B vintage in 2001 at the 1472 N Milwaukee store front. Shortly after opening store B vintage, David closed the doors at Findables,  his gift boutique on Armitage Avenue, after 25 years in business. David studied Textiles and Clothing at The University of Texas at Austin, before moving to Chicago where he was the Women's Contemporary and Designer Sporstwear buyer for Marshall Field and Co. Later, David moved to New York City and was the Jewlery and Handbag buyer for Bergdorf Goodman.  Needless to say, David's experience in the fashion world gives him insight into vintage wares and his passion and attention to detail make store B vintage stand out from other vintage stores in the Chicago area.

Every piece in the store B vintage collection is carefully selected and repaired, if needed, before going on the floor. Utilizing his experience as a women’s accessories buyer, David’s eclectic mix also includes vintage handbags, jewelry, and other wearable accessories. David has added vintage and contemporary designer pieces to the collection, such as Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar de la Renta,  and Ungaro. "We are completely transparent, as we distinguish vintage from contemporary goods," Ginople states.

store B vintage also hosts a robust collection of vintage kitchenware, barware and mid-century home décor.  You can trust David's years of expertise and know when you buy from store B vintage you are purchasing a piece of fashion history from a collection that has been carefully curated and preserved.
